Cheap food market in Valencia- better than Central Market? (Not so “touristy”)

During our recent visit to Valencia we discovered a new market! the Mercat de Russafa is a fantastic market full of fresh, local produce.
It´s not a tourist market like central market and the prices reflect that.

All types of foods were available- as well as Spanish foods- including “ready to eat”, there were also stalls selling foods from Greece & Japan, among others. There is also a great range of stalls around the outside of the market.
Russafa is a lovely suberb of Valencia and we´d definitely recommend it as a base if you´re visiting Valencia.
Don´t forget your cool bag so that you can buy lots of goodies from the market while you´re there!
