Join us for another weekend vlog as we get up to a bit of everything – from discovering new food at Mercadona and Lidl, checking on our home allotment and cooking a slow-cooked rib of beef, to trying some VERY unusual things with ice cream! 🍦😂
🍦 What Are We Putting on Ice Cream?!
This week we’re trying TWO very different additions to ice cream.
One sounds unusual enough… but the second one might just leave you wondering what on earth we’re doing! 😂
Will they actually work, or have we completely ruined a perfectly good bowl of ice cream?
You’ll have to watch to find out!
🛒 New Food Finds at Mercadona & Lidl
As always, we couldn’t resist checking out what’s new in the Spanish supermarkets.
This week we’ve got some interesting finds to try, including cheeseburger empanadillas, Mercadona Terrezno, Pizza Bites and Arancini from Lidl.
We’ll be putting them all to the taste test to see which ones are actually worth buying.
🌱 Our Home Allotment Update
There’s also another update from our home allotment here in Spain.
Despite some rather unexpected RAIN, things are progressing, and we’ve got another harvest to show you.
We’ll take a look at what’s growing, what’s been harvested and how things are developing.
🥩 Slow-Cooked Rib of Beef
We’re also heading out to buy a rib of beef in Torrevieja before getting it slow cooking at home.
And there’s a little shopping drama along the way…
