Toledo

We managed to get 3 nights away to Toledo- the question is, is it enough time to explore this historical Spanish city?

Many visit Toledo for the day on the train from Madrid- at approximately 30 minutes by train, its a great option. Suggestion: If you plan on doing Toledo in a day, work out EXACTLY what you want to see, do and experience. The hilly cobbled streets have something to discover on every corner, and your time is at a premium.

We drove from Torrevieja to Toledo in just over 5 hours, with stops. This meant we had the late afternoon from the Friday, 3 nights until early afternoon on the Monday.

Would it be enough time to explore the city?

Activities

We had lots of things we wanted to see, do and experience, but this list was likely to change once we were there, and at any given moment; The Alcazhar, Cathedral, various Churches, historical points of interest, maybe a bus tour/ hop on, hop off bus, architecture, and food.

You know it´s all about the food, right?
