For many Brits living in Spain, a traditional Sunday roast is one of those meals that you occasionally really miss. Thankfully, there are plenty of restaurants around the Costa Blanca serving British favourites — but which ones are actually worth visiting?

That’s what we’re here to find out!

Sunday Roast in Quesada

Quesada is a popular area for both British residents and visitors, with a wide selection of restaurants, bars and places to eat.

Although the area is particularly well known for its British food options, we’re interested in something very specific today:

The Sunday roast.

A good Sunday roast is about much more than simply putting meat and vegetables on a plate. The roast potatoes, vegetables, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, gravy and, of course, the meat all have to come together.

So how does this one compare?

The restaurant we visit is perhaps better known for fish and chips, making the Sunday roast an interesting addition to the menu.

We head there to see what the Sunday lunch is like, what we get on the plate and, most importantly, what we think of it.

Is it a proper British-style Sunday roast?

Is it good value?

And could it be one of the best we’ve tried on the Costa Blanca?

One of the great things about living on the Costa Blanca is the sheer variety of restaurants available.
