Trip to Oliva & Moby Dicks

We went to Oliva as a nostalgia trip for Helen- her family first bought a property there over 40 years ago.

The house still exists, but years later, Helen´s family then purchased property further south, in the Torrevieja area.

Back then, it was a proper typical Spanish coastal town; an area near the beach with summer houses, and an area slightly in land- and nobody spoke English…

Now things have progressed, slightly. Typically Spanish bars and restaurants are now owned and frequented by expats; there is a fantastic beach to enjoy and all the usual amenities.

The old town has narrow, steep streets for exploring, with various churches, parks and monuments along the way.
