Extended weekend; starting Thursday, Finish Monday, due to Friday and Monday being red days (Bank Holidays)
Thursday- walk from El Chaparral to San Luis, for Chinese at the Asia Garden (via bar Kenz)
Friday – Tapas at Bar Quick (La Siesta), clearing the garage out, home made Chicken Skewers for BBQ with Beef Kofte from Reeves Butchers (San Luis)
Saturday- tile & bathroom shopping, Preyser (Ciudad Quesada) & Leroy Merlin (Zenia Boulevard)- failed attempt at lunch in My Tapa, Special burger for Chesca, Thai mussells, Aubergine with cod & alioli crust
Sunday – trip to Cabo de Palos at the bottom of La Manga strip. Lunch at Taberna del Puerto (fantastic, if pricey), walk around the marina/ harbour and upto the lighthouse. Trip to the end of La Manga strip (Mediterranean one side, Mar Menor the other)
Monday- walk into Torrevieja along the yellow brick road, coffee and the marina, walk through some of Torrevieja before heading back via the Habaneras. Slow cooked pork curry for tea.
